The Correct Storm Shelter Anchor Depends On The Surface At Your Site
Because a Safe Sheds storm shelter has a 6" steel-reinforced concrete floor, it isn't necessary to pour a pad for installation. We use in-ground screw anchors to anchor our shelters into the ground to keep it from sliding or twisting if struck by heavy debris.
$350 - In-Ground Screw Anchor - Set of Four, Installed
If you set your Safe Sheds storm shelter directly on the ground or on a gravel pad, in-ground screw anchors are used at all four corners of your shelter. These anchors are mechanically driven into the ground and then secured to the shelter. This prevents sliding or twisting if the shelter is struck by heavy, wind-driven debris.
$350 - Concrete Slab Anchor - Set of Four, Installed
If you set your Safe Shed storm shelter on a concrete pad, we will install four anchors with wedge bolts, one anchor at each corner of the shelter, to prevent sliding or twisting.
